More than a year after Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage in Western North Carolina, we continue to see progress. One of the latest signs is in the form of a piano.
The baby grand piano has been delivered to the site of a former-iconic fast food restaurant in Asheville.
The unique McDonald's at Biltmore Village was known for its architecture which blended with the style of the quaint historic district. The restaurant was also known for its piano.
Crews delivered and installed a new piano yesterday at the restaurant that's under construction. It's set to open in December.
This is not a commercial. The piano signifies the sweet sounds of the comeback of an area hit particularly hard 14 months ago.
