LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Conway Police Department is investigating after a person was hit by a train on Wednesday.

Officials stated that officers responded to the area of Parkway Street and Mill Street regarding an accident involving a train and a pedestrian.

Police are asking that drivers avoid the area and use alternate routes while officers investigate.
