FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Amid a nonstop barrage of coaching search rumors, it was almost easy to forget that Arkansas still had a game left to play this season—and perhaps it was best forgotten.
The 2025 Hogs took the field for the final time Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, hosting Missouri with the BattleLine trophy on the line.
Bobby Petrino, in his final game as interim head coach, opted to start KJ Jackson at quarterback after Jackson spelled Taylen Green in the second half last week.
The move paid off on the second drive of the game for Arkansas, with Jackson finding O'Mega Blake for a 16-yard touchdown to tie the game at seven. Then, a rare break for the Arkansas defense, a Missouri fumble scooped up by Arkansas returned for a touchdown and the lead.
