Apple TV has pulled the French thriller “The Hunt” from its upcoming schedule after its director has been accused of plagiarizing the story from a 1973 novel.
According to Apple Insider, “The Hunt” was taken off of the Apple TV app on Nov. 20 and has removed all materials about the show from its site. No explanation for its removal was provided by Apple.
However, series creator Cedric Anger has been accused of stealing the central plot from the novel “Shoot” by Douglas Fairbairn.
“The Hunt” is about a group of hunting buddies that are attacked by another bunch of mysterious hunters while in the woods. After getting back home to their families they continue to feel they are being stalked.
