SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. —
A Greenville County deputy was taken to the hospital following a crash on Wednesday afternoon.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was involved in a collision with another vehicle around 1:20 p.m.
The crash happened near the intersection of East Standing Springs Road and West Georgia Road.
Authorities said the deputy sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The deputy is expected to make a full recovery. The other person involved in the crash was not injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Details of the collision have not been released.
