AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Authorities arrested two men Nov. 20 after officials say a drug bust found around $348,000 worth of meth and fentanyl.
According to court documents, the Amarillo Police Department received information that Jose Magana-Reyes and another unknown man were traveling from New Mexico to Amarillo with approximately five pounds of methamphetamine and approximately a half kilogram of fentanyl pills.
After receiving a description of the vehicle, a gold van, police started surveillance along I-40.
Court documents state authorities found a vehicle matching the suspect’s description and followed it to a Motel 6 on Paramount Blvd. in Amarillo.
