Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Leandro Trossard after the forward was forced off in the first half of Arsenal ’s 3-1 win over Bayern Munich .
Trossard went down towards the end of the first half and had to be replaced by Noni Madueke before the break.
The Belgian has proved himself a key and underated player in Arteta’s side so far this season, scoring five goals in 15 appearances in all competitions.
However, he may now be a doubt for Sunday’s key Premier League clash with Chelsea, who sit second and six points behind Arsenal.
Asked for an update on Trossard post-match, Arteta said: ‘With Leo, we don’t know. He said he felt something, so we didn’t want to take any risks’
An injury to Trossard was perhaps the only blemish on what was another superb result for Ars
