LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Louisville Metro Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
On Wednesday, police said they arrested 36-year-old Jarrett Dennis.
He's charged with second-degree assault in the shooting that happened on Oct. 21 in the 2600 block of W Chestnut.
Police responded to that address around 9:45 p.m. and found a 31-year-old man who had been shot in the thigh. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An arrest slip says Dennis was caught on surveillance cameras shooting the man. It says police also recovered articles of clothing Dennis wore during the shooting.
Additionally, police collected a firearm that led them to casings gathered at the shooting scene.
