CULLMAN, Ala. —
A longtime Cullman attorney is charged with trying to kill her husband.
Sara Baker is facing a slew of charges after being arrested Tuesday night. After a night behind bars, Baker bonded out of the Cullman County Detention Center on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities said she posted a $400,000 bond.
WVTM13’s Lisa Crane spoke to her briefly as she was leaving the jail. The longtime attorney did not comment as she faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, elder abuse and domestic violence.
Cullman police said she's accused of trying to kill her husband, Doyle Baker. They've been married for almost 30 years and live in Vinemont. Neighbors said Doyle Baker is a former Auburn football player who suffered a stroke a few years ago. They said Sara was his primary caregi
