The Los Angeles Rams have the number one scoring defense in the NFL and now they’re getting even closer to full strength with cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon expected to return to the field in Week 13 against the Carolina Panthers. Activating Witherspoon was part of a series of moves for the Rams on Wednesday, which also included activating Tutu Atwell, who is also expected to play against the Panthers, and claiming cornerback Derion Kendrick off of waivers after he was let go by the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

That’s not all, as the Rams also signed tight end Nick Vannett to the 53-man roster and placed cornerback Roger McCreary on injured reserve.
