COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Residents at The Langford Methodist Retirement Community in College Station are spreading smiles during Rivalry Week with a spirited rendition of the Aggie War Hymn that recently went viral.

The video, which shows the seniors singing together in unison, has captured the attention of Aggies and even rival Longhorn fans. For many at The Langford, it’s just another way to celebrate a lifelong connection to Texas A&M.

“It’s very special, having spent more than 30 years out of state, coming back to the motherland… Aggie friends here,” said resident and class of 1961 graduate Phil Granberry, reflecting on returning to Aggieland.

Helping each other is part of the daily routine at the community, said class of 1969 graduate Joe O’Leary.
