PLYMOUTH, N.C. (WITN) - The town of Plymouth held a special called meeting on Wednesday, with items on its agenda that had residents a little concerned just a day before Thanksgiving.
On the council’s agenda were items that members of the board motioned to table.
The board tabled agenda item two: “Consideration to Approve Adoption of CDBG-I Compliance Plans and Resolutions.”
The board also tabled a resolution to lease two properties on Washington Street, which include the Bear Towne Market, and another resolution to lease the now closed Plymouth Food Pantry.
Downtown Development Association President Tammy Wiard, who maintains Bear Towne Market, says that the association has not “received any notice ending the tenancy at will.”
Residents left the meeting wondering what changed.
