LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Kentucky State Police announced that their annual Trooper Teddy Black Friday sale begins on Thanksgiving and will run through Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Each bear can be purchased for $20 and will help fund the Trooper Teddy Project , which is a program that gives teddy bears to children experiencing traumatic events.

Officials said the program is funded exclusively by charitable donations and bear sales, with all proceeds directly supporting the purchase of additional bears.

Trooper Teddy Bears can be bought online or at any KSP Post . Customers can either pick up their bears at a local post or have them shipped for an additional fee.
