ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in south St. Louis City late Wednesday.

According to police, just before 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the intersection of Gravois and Iowa avenues for a report of a person struck by a vehicle.

Police say a person has died.
