WASHINGTON — The Humane Organization Representing Suffering Equines (HORSE of Connecticut), now celebrating its 44th year, will hold its annual Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, at 43 Wilbur Road in Washington. The snow date is Sunday, December 7.
The Christmas fun starts from the minute the gates are opened at 10 a.m. with hourly tours to meet the many horses, a Silent Auction with interesting items such as toys and horse accessories. The popular Bake Sale will offer tables filled with a variety of home baked goods from cakes to cookies, many beautifully wrapped and ready to be given as gifts.
