HOLLAND, MI — Former Grand Rapids Press reporter Shandra Martinez said she has interviewed thousands of people over her journalism career. After over 30 years behind the news desk, however, she realized she had covered everybody’s story but her own.
Martinez, who now owns her own communications firm in Holland, recently launched a family storytelling project dubbed Legacina . Just in time for the holidays, she is bringing decades of storytelling experience to help families preserve their stories for future generations.
