EAST GRANBY, Conn. — A family in East Granby is wondering what makes their security camera so attractive to a local bear after it's been stolen two times.

Danielle Lawrence of East Granby sent video showing the view from the Ring camera as the bear carried it in its mouth away from the home.

Lawrence said in an email, "Last week, a bear came onto our back deck, grabbed our Ring camera in his mouth, and carried it off into the woods. We thought it was a one-time funny moment, so we set the camera back up — but last night the same bear returned, walked right up the deck stairs, and took the camera again. He usually sniffs it for a bit and then drops it nearby, but it’s definitely becoming a pattern!"
