LEWISTON, Maine — Kaydenz Kitchen Food Pantry in Lewiston has found a new location following a recent fire that left its building condemned and all of its supplies destroyed.
The non-profit will be moving to the YWCA Central Maine facility at 130 East Ave. in Lewiston, according to a social media post Wednesday.
"This opportunity opens the doors for us to support even more families, including those already served through the YWCA's powerful community programs," the social media post said.
Kaydenz Kitchen was formerly located on Lincoln Street in Lewiston, in the building that was formerly Schemengees Bar and Grille, one of the locations involved in the 2023 Lewiston mass shootings.
