Weather experts are predicting more snow for the North East this weekend. According to Met Office maps, parts of the region are set to see some of the white stuff on Saturday night.
The North East experienced the first cold snap of the winter last week, with many areas covered in snow. Weather warnings were issued, alerting people to potential disruption because of the freezing tempertaures and the risks from snow and ice.
Latest Met Office charts show there is set to be more snow this weekend. However, it does not look at this stage to be likely to be as extensive as last week and there are currently no warnings in place. This comes as ChronicleLive reported on an upcoming 'snow dump' across the UK,
