Police investigating the terror attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue have arrested a suspect at Manchester Airport .
A 31-year-old man has detained on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism after arriving on an inbound flight, Greater Manchester Police confirmed.
He remains in custody for questioning, according to a statement from the force. The arrest took place earlier today (November 27).
On the morning of October 2, Jihad Al Shamie attended at the synagogue and conducted an attack. Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz died, and three other men were treated in hospital for serious injuries. Two have since been released.
