CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say one person has died following an overnight interstate crash in Clarendon County.
Master Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened just after around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday near the 119-mile marker.
Bennett said a 2006 Toyota 4Runner was heading south on I-95 when it ran off the road to the left and flipped. Officials said the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died at the scene.
The victim's name has not yet been released by the Clarendon County Coroner's Office. The crash is still under investigation.
