DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A 15-year-old has been arrested for murder in connection with a Decatur murder from October.

The teen who is not being identified due to their age was wanted for the murder of Tevon Beasley that happened on October 24.

The teen was arrested Wednesday just after 10 p.m. at a home in Decatur. This is the second arrest in connection with the murder.

On October 24 at 10:10 p.m., the Decatur Police Department responded

to a report of shots fired with a gunshot victim at a business in the 1100 block of E. Wood Street.

Officers found 17-year-old Tevon Beasley had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
