INDIANA. (WPTA) - The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) says it will offer free admission to state parks this Friday as part of “Opt Outside Day.”
On Friday, Nov. 28, the 24 state parks and some additional properties will offer free admission to encourage Hoosiers to take a break from shopping and get outside with loved ones.
“Thanksgiving is a great time to connect with family, friends, and the outdoors. You can do all three the day after Thanksgiving with free admission to DNR properties that charge admission, which is a great Black Friday deal. Make a new tradition this year and spend time this holiday season relaxing and recharging outdoors.” Alan Morrison, DNR director said.
Participating locations in 21Country include Pokagon, Chain O’ Lakes, and Ouabache State Parks,
