BANGOR, Maine (WABI) -It’s a tradition that’s been happening for six years now at Husson University where the dining staff and volunteer students make a delicious Thanksgiving meal for those in need.
The award-winning dining staff and volunteers in the Dickerman Dining Center Thanksgiving morning as they assembled over 160 meals for older adults and people with disabilities.
The partnership between Husson and the Caleb Group and Harbor Management has fed locals at the Bradford Commons and Kenduskeag Terrace in Bangor.
Once the crew finishes the assembling of turkey, stuffing potatoes, pie and more, the regional resident service coordinator at the Caleb Group distributes the meals.
Every year the need grows but so does the gratitude.
