CHICAGO (WBAY) - Students from Valders High School marched down State Street in the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade on Thursday morning.
CNN affiliate WBBM reports this was Valders High School’s first time in the Chicago parade.
They performed “On Wisconsin,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” and “Louie, Louie.”
The high school says 125 of its 320 students are involved in band, and they take part in 30 to 40 parades, sporting events and pep rallies every year.
The school tries to offer students trips to a major city each year, citing the Washington D.C. Independence Day Parade and Milwaukee’s Memorial Day Parade as examples.
Ninety-eight students made the trip to Chicago.
