Police have charged a Huron-Kinloss man after an incident in Ripley on Monday in which they say a telecommunications company vehicle was damaged.
At about 4:22 p.m., South Bruce OPP received a report of a disturbance in the area of MacDonald Street and Queen Street.

Officers learned that a telecommunications company was working in the area when an employee was confronted by a disgruntled resident, police said in a news release.
The resident continued to cause a scene, yelling and using profanities before striking the company vehicle with a steel pole and causing damage, police said.
As a result of an investigation a 31-year-old Huron-Kinloss man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance and mischief under $5,000.
