HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Mostly dry and stable weather is expected through the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend, thanks to a high pressure ridge over the islands.

Winds will also be light due to the ridge. Haze from Episode 37 of the current eruption of Kilauea may spread over the smaller islands for Thanksgiving Day into the evening. Take precautions if you’re affected by the volcanic emissions.

A First Alert is up for possible wetter conditions next week. The latest forecast models have pushed the arrival time of a front to midweek, and the front itself may no reach us, but it could still bring more clouds, more kona winds and more humidity. Stay tuned.
