A married head teacher who exposed himself to staff on school premises and a school trip has been struck off the teaching register.

The "predatory" and "sexualised" behaviour of James 'Jamie' Richards, former head teacher of Swansea's Cadle Primary, saw him banned from working in maintained or non-maintained schools in Wales for at least 15 years after a professional standards panel found all allegations against him proved.

Finding the father-of-two's behaviour over a decade had put others at risk the panel ruled Richards cannot apply to be considered for restitution to the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Wales register until at least November 2040.
