Ste. Anne Police are investigating an alleged altercation that happened earlier this week at Ste. Anne Collegiate.

Letters were sent to parents and guardians of students noting that a school-wide assembly was held on November 26 to address an incident from the previous day, where one student allegedly harmed another.

It states that several students who were nearby did not step in or seek help. The school says this was concerning and felt it was important to speak with students right away.

According to the letter, Principal Yvan St. Vincent addressed the assembly and noted that safety comes first, and violence is never acceptable. He also reminded students that standing by or filming during an incident is not appropriate.
