LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Earlier today in downtown Laredo, volunteers served hot Thanksgiving meals to the community.
Livi’s Mexicue owner David Ovalle says local businesses pitched in to help create a holiday meal for people in need — and for anyone who wanted to share in the celebration.
After giving away 300 plates in the first year and 600 last year, organizers are aiming to distribute 1,200 plates this season. New this year: a donation corner for clothing, shoes and blankets.
