LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Before the Thanksgiving meal, over 1,700 people laced up for the 18th annual Turkey Trot. The community-focused event operates as a nonprofit and funnels its earnings to help less fortunate families in Laredo — specifically through the LIFE Organization, which assists children who need extra support during the holiday season.
