ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — On South Cobb Drive in Marietta, AZ Pizza failed a health inspection. The sign on the door said they are open seven days a week. But when Atlanta News First went inside to ask about a failing health inspection all the lights were off and there was no manager in sight.
AZ Pizza scored 62 points and a “U” for unsatisfactory. The report says there was food debris on knives stored as clean, there was expired parmesan cheese located in the cooler that was more than three months out of date and mold and there was mold, and a sour smell found on pineapple, pasta, beef, mushrooms and alfredo sauce.
With available, we went to the convenience store clerk located next door to see if he could help, and he said the owner was not there.
