JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The door opened and a blustery chill was quickly erased by the warmth of the kitchen Thursday at Stevens Memorial Holy Church in Johnstown.

Members of the church at 314 William Penn Ave. in the city's Prospect section prepared food for at least 80 people. Children volunteering hummed along with soft music playing in the background as the tables were set. Close
