A judge ruled Andrew Wall's arguments 'stretches credulity' as she denied his application for a mistrial. He will be sentenced next month.

Wall and his girlfriend, Marlena Bennett, were found guilty in February 2024 after they were charged in 2021. They left Fort McMurray for B.C. shortly after they were charged. Bennett received a 10-year sentence in October 2024. Wall’s sentencing was delayed when he applied for a mistrial. His mistrial arguments were heard in October. Article content
