ASHEVILLE – Temperatures are expected to drop in the final days of November, likely heading into the coldest weather yet this fall.
As shelter residents recently told the Citizen Times, respite from sub-freezing temperatures can be the difference between “life or death” for people on the street.
National Weather Service meteorologist Doug Outlaw said Nov. 28 could see lows of 19 degrees, well below normal for this time of year in Asheville.
