Drivers will be left faced with an hour-long diversion as a major road is closed for works.
Engineers for Suffolk Highways will be returning to the A140 near Eye to reinstate road markings.
The work was unable to be carried out during a previous closure of the road due to adverse weather conditions.
It will be carried out on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.
A closure will be in place between the A143 and B1077 in Brome, near Eye, between 8pm and 5am.
For the duration of the overnight closures, a 55-mile diversion will be in place.
It will follow the A140, A14, A134 and A143.
It is estimated that the diversion will take around an hour to complete.
The diversion route includes A roads because some vehicles, such as HGVs, cannot go down smaller roads that others would us
