LORAIN, Ohio (WOIO) - The City of Lorain issued a precautionary boil advisory Friday morning after a cellular signal interruption at the city’s water purification plant.
According to the release, just before midnight until around 5:15 a.m. on Friday, the cellular signal was interrupted at the City of Lorain Water Purification Plant.
The interruption caused the Red Hill Water Tower to drain completely.
Now, the Red Hill Pressure District is under a precautionary boil advisory in anticipation that some customers within the pressure district could have dropped below the minimum operating pressure of 20 psi.
