COLUMBIA, S.C. — After a cold Black Friday morning across South Carolina, the Midlands is bracing for another round of freezing temperatures early Saturday, with some spots dipping into the mid-20s.
Many cities across the state started the morning near or below freezing, including Greenville, Spartanburg, Charleston and Myrtle Beach. Columbia hovered right around 32 degrees early Friday.
Friday will bring sunshine and quiet weather, but temperatures will still be chilly, with light winds keeping wind chills close to the actual temperatures.
