KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — Kalamazoo County’s three most dangerous intersections in 2024 were all on the same road.

That road is Drake Road, along the border of Kalamazoo and Oshtemo Township.

The most crashes occurred at Drake Road and West KL Avenue with 30. That was followed by 29 at Drake and Stadium Drive and 27 at Drake and West Main Street, according to information provided by the state of Michigan .

In 2023, Drake and West Main was the county’s most dangerous intersection with 42 crashes.

Conversely, Drake and West KL — No. 1 in 2024 — ranked No. 4 in 2023 with 29 crashes.
