A lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 9:54 a.m. in effect until 7 p.m. for Venango County.
The weather service adds to be ready for, "Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 - 3 inches. Storm Total of 4 to 7 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes," states the weather service.
