The National Weather Service issued a report at 10:30 a.m. on Friday for lake effect snow until 11:15 a.m. for Herkimer, Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren, Washington and Fulton counties.

"At 10:21 a.m., a lake effect snow band was over Wells, or 14 miles south of Speculator moving east at 45 MPH," states the weather service.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 16 and 22.

Expect lake effect snow in the following locations:

Wells and Sacandaga Campground around 10:25 a.m.

Day Center around 10:40 a.m.

Lake Luzerne-Hadley and Lake Luzerne Campground around 10:50 a.m.

Glens Falls North and West Glens Falls around 10:55 a.m.

Glens Falls around 11 a.m.

Hudson Falls and Fort Edward around 11:05 a.m.
