LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Despite more people expected to take advantage of online discounts this year, some shoppers say they still enjoy doing things the old-fashioned way.

In-person shopping was underway early Friday in Laredo as several retailers prepared to open their doors bright and early. On Friday morning, our crew took a live look at a shopping center at Loop 20 and Clark Boulevard, where witnesses said a large line formed before stores opened, though the pace dropped off later in the morning.

While online shopping may be easier, many say visiting stores on Black Friday remains a Thanksgiving tradition.
