Fire crews raced to the city centre in Edinburgh on Friday amid an incident. Locals were 'concerned' after seeing firefighters at around 3.30pm on November 28.

At least four appliances were seen. The exact nature of the incident has not been confirmed.

A local resident who was walking by told us: "I was just on my way home from work when and I spotted the trucks in the distance. I have no idea what's going on but I hope everyone is okay.

"There was a good few firefighters on the scene."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
