When it comes to rivalries, sometimes fans tend to take it to the next level. And according to Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, ahead of Friday’s Egg Bowl, Mississippi State fans literally took quarterback Trinidad Chambliss’ jersey hours before the high-profile matchup.
During an interview on ESPN’s SEC Network, Kiffin alleged that hidden cameras set up by Rebel equipment staff caught Bulldog fans breaking into the visitors locker room and running off with Chambliss’ No. 6 top, among other items.
“You can hear these fans already out here,” Kiffin told Marty Smith during the interview. “This will be a great game today. It’s a very passionate rivalry. I mean, shoot, at 10:00 last night, luckily our great Ken Crain (equipment manager) put secret cameras in the locker room so we could watch
