CHICAGO — Cameron Boozer was a one-man wrecking crew who ruined Arkansas basketball 's Thanksgiving.
The phenom freshman scored 35 points and grabbed nine rebounds as No. 4 Duke edged the No. 21 Razorbacks 80-71 on Thursday, Nov. 27. The Hogs (5-2) held him to two points through the first 13 minutes, but Boozer found his stride toward the end of the first half and carried the Blue Devils (7-0) across the finish line.
John Calipari attempted to recruit Boozer to Kentucky and then Arkansas , but the five-star prospect went to Duke and played a pivotal role in the Razorbacks' second loss of the season. Boozer's self-awareness is what stood out to Calipari in their first head-to-head matchup.
"As soon as (Boozer) figured out, ‘I can put my shoulder into this guy's chest and move him
