DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Police say a Davenport man fled from officers with two children in his car and hit a police vehicle.
Devin Sodeman, 29, of Davenport, was arrested Wednesday night, according to jail records.
It started just before 7 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Cedar Street.
Officers said Sodeman was driving 60 mph in a 25 mph neighborhood.
Police say he hit a squad car when officers tried to stop him in an alley.
Two children were in the car, officials said.
Police said Sodeman had been driving on a suspended license since 2022.
Sodeman is charged with two counts of felony eluding, felony assault on a police officer, felony second-degree criminal mischief and four counts of misdemeanor child endangerment.
Bond for Sodeman is set at $15,000.
