A legendary ITV newsreader, who passed away in June, has bequeathed a substantial sum to his four children.

Sandy Gall died at the age of 97, following an illustrious career that spanned more than five decades.

The broadcaster was renowned for his work as a foreign correspondent with ITN before becoming a co-presenter on ITV's News at Ten.

His will reveals he left a considerable fortune to his four children, whom he had with his wife Eleanor.
