The Mill River Unified Union School Board decided at its Nov. 19 meeting that it does wish to explore a transportation contract with a third-party vendor.

Transportation and the district’s difficulty hiring bus drivers have been recurring items brought before the board in recent years. A shortage of drivers has led to frequent route consolidation.
