IN Scotland, our politics have never been confined to the debating chamber, or even within our own borders.

It spills into cafes, pubs, on the bus, WhatsApp groups, the doctor's office (even if they try to ban it), universities, workplaces, Europe, Australia, and recently, right into the Oval Office.

And increasingly, voters are expecting and wanting more than headlines and soundbites. They want fresh voices, stories and ideas with critical thinking, unfiltered arguments and hopefully, a bit of humour.
