NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell is entering a “friendly” wager with Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon ahead of the Tennessee and Vanderbilt game.

Kincannon first posted, inviting O’Connell and thousands of volunteer friends from Nashville to Knoxville for the game on Saturday to watch the Vols “crush” the Commodores.

“That anchor is going to be at the bottom of the Tennessee River,” Kincannon said.

Kincannon added that as part of the friendly wager, she’s looking forward to O’Connell donning the orange and singing Rocky Top if the Vols win.
